BSV has the largest industry coverage of any ITAB in the Victorian network with responsibility for:

• Business Services, Finance and Property industries - 3 large and economically important industries
• the Local Government Administration
• the provision of lead agency - a coordinating role across all industries - for 107 occupations including managers, marketers, accountant, security guards, contract cleaners and administrative workers
• 27% of the Victorian workforce
• in addition, BSV's constituency is served by 700 registered training providers - or 65% of all those in Victoria.
